One of the challenges we have faced numerous times is getting products or prototypes efficiently, affordably and quickly produced. In our region there is a lack of light manufacturing for prototyping or creation of an MVP (Minimum Viable Product).
So we thought - “Why not do it ourselves?”
The FAB is an DRCI workshop giving people an introduction, education and access to machines, materials, and methods to make all kinds of things. It is an environment for exploring the edges of creativity through mediums such as technology. If you are a DIY enthusiast, model maker, engineer, crafts person, hobbyist, artist, or inventor, we invite you to become a member of the DRCI and gain access to the FAB
The FAB provides the Concept to Product solution while The HUB provides the concurrent Concept to Company business solution the DRCI has been providing for the past ten years. This provides a turn-key solution to our Program Companies.
Who knows? Maybe the product you design in the FAB will be the first step to starting your own business. Something we can help you with in our STARTUP program or GROWTH Program.

The FAB has a CAD/CAM manufacturing workstation and fabrication equipment such as:
* 3D Laser cutter and engraver
* 3D printers
*High powered workstations with industry standard design software
And, the knowledge workers necessary to make it all work.
